Who We Are...
We have been providing reliable Assessment Collection Services to California Common Interest Developments since 1997. With more than two decades of experience, we understand how important it is to resolve accounts in a positive manner.
Our team is professional and compassionate throughout the collection process which is why large balances or small, our Association clients notice a reduction in their delinquency reports within the first 60 days.
Invested & Involved
We’re invested and involved in the Association industry through our annual memberships in the various trade organizations, our tradeshow attendance and advertising support.
In addition, our leadership team submit articles for online newsletters and trade publications and volunteer time to serve on committees that advocate for Associations. All of which ultimately supports Community Associations and their Community Association Managers in education and training.
The Professionals
Beverlee Gordon
Director Of Operations & Founder
As a long time vendor to the California Homeowner Association industry, Beverlee’s experience started in a Property Management firm’s Accounts Receivable department. She later became one of the first 400 Certified Community Association Managers through CACM.
With her knowledge of the industry and her management experience, she then helped establish a delinquent assessment collection department in a San Francisco law firm and became the marketing director for that book of business.
Leaving for an opportunity with an accounting firm she ending up coming full circle when she branched off and started A.S.A.P. Collection Services in 1997. Beverlee’s main focus was to take all of her experience in the various fields and provide a service that benefited of the Association, the Manager and the Owners. Today, A.S.A.P. is one of the leaders in the assessment collection industry in the Northern California region.
“We help owners get back on track with their assessments.” - Beverlee Gordon
Director Of Administration
Cheryl has been with A.S.A.P. from the beginning and has been pivotal in shaping the company and the positive, compassionate attitude exhibited by our team. Everyone that contacts our office is treated with respect as we assist in the resolve of an account. Accounts Receivable Management, aka debt collection, is looked upon as being a hard and uncaring business, but that is NOT the experience that A.S.A.P. strives to give to anyone that contacts our office. Cheryl’s years of experience in Human Resources gave her the experience and tools necessary to work with all styles of people; which is key in the debt collection business.
Anyone that works with Cheryl recognizes her extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of the association collection industry as well as the non-judicial foreclosure process.
Cheryl’s leadership and administrative strengths positioned her to be the backbone of the San Jose office as the director of our administrative team and the office manager.
“We like when managers and Associations look at A.S.A.P. as an extension of their office.“ -
Cheryl Hall
Director Of Client Relations
Terin’s experience and introduction to the Community Association Industry began as an Escrow Officer Assistant gathering the necessary documents and payoff demands for homeowner association assessments. As the title business slowed, she went to work for a UPS store where she became their Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable administrator and later worked her way up to Processing Payroll and Establishing Corporate Accounts.
Taking a new direction Terin joined A.S.A.P. in 2008 as a Customer Service representative for Owners; and excelled. Recognizing Terin’s desire to do more, A.S.A.P. then transitioned her to the lender foreclosure department negotiating with lenders on outstanding debt. Terin’s take charge talents has landed her a seat at the table in assisting the company to continue to streamline and shape the company as the collection industry continues to change year after year. Her knowledge and experience in the CID industry, together with her fearless attitude, has earned her the respect of attorneys, mangers, board members and her peers.
As the company’s Client Relations Director Terin volunteers on industry committees, has been a contributing speaker at trade seminars and oversees the manager support line, which is the main hub clients utilized to discuss all aspects of collection.
